granola crumble ☁️

ingredients
large knob of butter
2 large eating apples
500g homemade or shop bought fruit compote
3–4 tbsp runny honey
2 tsp ground cinnamon
4 large handfuls of gurt lush “the base” granola
greek yoghurt, to serve

large frying pan

4 serving bowls
warm fruit, buttery toasted granola and cold yoghurt layered together for the easiest crumble inspired breakfast or dessert. comforting, crunchy and perfect for slower evenings or weekend mornings.

place a large frying pan over a medium heat and add half the butter. coarsely grate the apples straight into the pan, discarding the cores as you go. add the compote, honey and cinnamon and cook for 5–8 minutes until soft, thick and bubbling.

in a separate frying pan, melt the remaining butter and add the base granola. stir continuously for a few minutes until golden, toasted and slightly clumped together.

spoon the warm fruit mixture into bowls. top with yoghurt and a generous handful of toasted granola crumble.
serve immediately ☁️

make the fruit layer ahead of time and keep chilled in the fridge. simply reheat and toast the granola fresh before serving
